Centralised monitoring and control

The IAMCS noriMos is our versatile solution for small and large ships. It consists of several decentralised subsystems or central PC stations that are monitored from one or more locations (e.g. in the engine control room or bridge). The system can be scaled flexibly.

Local operating panels (LOPs) for local monitoring and control

The local engine control is mounted near the engine and can be integrated into the IAMCS. It consists of one or more control panels (LOPs) with a touchscreen display. Monitoring and control functions can thus be performed locally, directly at the engine.

Two options for the IAMCS system structure

Master-client architecture or centrally controlled

Benefits of the master-client architecture

noriMos 4 is based on multi-master technology. Each subsystem has a modular structure and is PLC-controlled (IEC 61131). The subsystems work independently of each other. This allows the noriMos 4 to be scaled flexibly and ensures high system availability.

  • Maximum system security through independently operating subsystems and redundant interfaces
  • Components, functionality, and software 'Made in Germany'
  • Easy integration from and into third-party systems
  • Maintenance efficiency through web access for remote maintenance and fast, long-term availability of spare parts

Benefits of the centrally controlled architecture

The noriMos 3500 is our cost-efficient alarm, monitoring, and control system for engines and auxiliary systems. The system is based on two central, redundant PC master stations. They collect and monitor measurement data from the connected I/O modules.

  • Standardised, modular components and features
  • Easily scalable and customizable to customer requirements
  • System security through redundant interfaces
  • Cost-effective due to approved standard components
