Congratulations Wallaby Boats! Last Thursday was finally the launch of the new high-tech ferry!

An exciting day at the Hitzler Werft GmbH: many guests followed the invitation to Lauenburg at the Elbe to watch and celebrate the launch of the new Wallaby Boats WB-18#001. Our technical sales representative Tobias Weichhan was there to capture the event for us.

The "world's first workboat on spring struts" is causing a stir both visually and with its new technology:
The ship's hull and superstructure are not permanently connected, but are spring-loaded using hydraulic cylinders to ensure safe disembarkation even in heavy seas. The "Nauti-Craft suspension system" equalises the waves and keeps the deck level.

These Wallabys will later serve as a kind of high-tech ferry to safely transport technicians and engineers to offshore installations at sea.
 
We ensure more safety on board. Perhaps not as aesthetically pleasing, but just as reliable, is our noriMos 4 alarm, monitoring, and control system.
